The Design Brief

Your project begins with a brief from you. You can present it by email or conference call. It will include:

  • the overall narrative of the space which can include a mood board, historical elements of the building (architectural details), fabrics and finishes. Anything that will allow us to understand the story behind your concept

  • floor plans/dimensions/shape

  • the role of the floor covering in the space

  • inspiration images

  • review any required specifications (e.g. the brand standards for a hotel)

  • the project location

  • the budget (may be preliminary)

  • the deadline
