TEXTURAL LUXE RUGS FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE

Texture reigns supreme throughout our three-rug series installed in the presidential suite at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto in January. Exploring various heights of loop and cut pile in a caramel and blue accent palette, a graceful continuity was achieved with each rug design visually flowing into the next. All the accent colours were handtufted with 100% silk to give contrast to the surrounding neutrals in wool. Continuing a story we initiated with rugs in the lobby, ballroom and meeting rooms, the centre of the design - a series of vertical and horizontal overlapping line work – appears as if it’s been woven while the gradated textures along the edges bring more of a quiet simplicity. A perfect backdrop to the velvety seating and other sophisticated elements in the space.
