CORRIDORS INSTANTLY ELEVATED WITH ELEGANT GEOMETRIC DESIGN

Four_Seasons_East_Tower.jpg

This prime mix of rich texture and visual interest takes its cues from the gorgeous tones in the surrounding millwork. Replacing a simpler carpet, the client desired a dynamic yet timeless pattern, reflecting the style of the architecture. The geometric design was inspired by a screen detail found in the 14-storey exclusive residence lobby. The strong linear shape mixed with the abstract cloud texture suits the corridors – and makes them feel wider - in a soft yet structured way. We experimented with several different scales of the pattern before settling on this final design by printing out full scale prints and reviewing them in the corridor itself. Establishing the perfect neutrals was also key – the undertones didn’t work if they went too warm or too cool so a precise colour choice was critical.
