REVAMPING TGF LAW FIRM’S RECEPTION WITH OUR ROUND RUG

Recently, Creative Matters had the privilege of collaborating with InSTUDIO interior design firm on a custom rug design for the reception area of the TGF Law Firm office. We provided a comprehensive design service, creating a stunning custom round rug to serve as a captivating centrepiece, infusing the corporate interior with vibrancy and character.

Our initial design idea was to use Drift Aqua from our XXV collection. Upon review, TGF decided they wanted to use more rich jewel hues to add a vibrant element to their existing decor. We sought inspiration from an unexpected source — a team glass-blowing Art Day. The coloured glass compositions created by our team during this Art Day resembled real jewels. They immediately came to the mind of Creative Matters’ project manager and lead designer for this project, Anna Panosyan. From there, it was a matter of quick digital adjustments to generate a design in sapphire, amethyst, and peridot tones and characteristics set into a circular shape.

With a clear vision in mind, our team set out to bring the custom rug design to life. Creative Matters’ skilled artisans from our partner mill in India meticulously hand-tufted the carpet using 100% New Zealand wool, ensuring a luxurious texture and durability. A 7mm cut pile was used to add depth and richness to the design, enhancing its overall allure.
The final result was a seamless fusion of artistic expression, weaved in with the demands of a corporate environment. The playfulness of the design, with its rich colours, injects life and beauty into an otherwise minimalist setting, creating a visually captivating focal point.
