CREATIVE MATTERS RECAPS LES RENDEZ-VOUS DE LA MATIÈRE + FAIR(E)

On October 10 and 11, Creative Matters had the pleasure of participating in the ninth edition of Les Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e), an industry event dedicated to the exploration of innovative, artisanal materials for architecture, decoration and interior design.

Our Director of Design Europe, Clémence Hardelay, and Director of Design Development, Anna Panosyan, had the honour of presenting Creative Matters’ luxury rugs and custom designed carpets at this year’s exhibition. They had a wonderful two days connecting with leading architects and designers from across the globe, having meaningful conversations about the world of design and fostering new connections.

This year, Les Rendez-vous de la Matiére + fair(e) took place within the opulent Atelier Richelieu, a private mansion nestled in the heart of the Bourse/Palais Royal district. The venue was thoughtfully selected to bring together designers, industrialists and artisans, encouraging the creative exploration and technical potential of materials and traditional craftsmanship.

Over the two days, an array of education and networking activities unfolded. Attendees were treated to a variety of thought-provoking conferences, engaging discussions and enriching workshops, all guided by inspiring and influential figures within architecture and design.

For Creative Matters, the exhibition proved to be a resounding success, generating significant interest and excitement around the savoir-faire and soft palettes our team presented. Les Rendez-vous de la Matiére + fair(e) offered us a unique opportunity to showcase our ability to offer unique solutions for carpet design, along with Creative Matters’ innovative materials and processes.

Reflecting on the event, Anna Panosyan expressed her enthusiasm, "It was a very successful event showcasing product development by high end suppliers, catering to the needs of interior designers and architects. We had some incredibly fruitful conversations and exchanges, and were able to establish excellent new contacts. We are hopeful this will lead to some exciting projects.”

Clémence Hardelay, in agreement, shared, “What an exceptional show! Two days of incredible intensity, with a very specialized and passionate audience. I'm impressed by the people we met and the quality of our discussions, which made this show quite unique. We could feel the excitement of new and returning contacts in regards to the different savoir-faire and soft palettes we showcased and I am looking forward to new interesting projects.”

Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic about the prospect of collaborating with our newfound friends from Les Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e), collectively striving to make innovative contributions to the dynamic world of interior design.
