WHEN THE INTERIOR DESIGNER REQUESTS A STATEMENT RUG

IBI Group’s designer knew what she wanted when she came to our showroom to discuss options for a reception floorcovering at Capital One. The rug needed to make a statement in its sophisticated space both in terms of design and quality of production. She loved a sample of Rory from Aerial, our award winning design from Domotex 2009. The strength and contrast of the pattern would pair beautifully with the polished concrete floors. We made adjustments to the palette, and repeated the motif to meet the necessary elongated dimensions. Then it was handknotted in Nepal using wool and silk.
