Our Storytelling Collection is a remarkable departure for Creative Matters. Rather than our own designs, it comprises rugs we have created from special works of Canadian visual artists. For each one, our designers must decide which construction and yarns will not only represent the integrity of the artist’s intent but also how to enchant in the textile medium.

Imagine waiting in the reception area and realizing the fascinating design beneath your feet not only looks like a map, it really is a street plan of the local area. This visually intriguing complement to the corporate office decor was developed from a formal map but the end result is a simplified abstract presentation.
