Recently, Creative Matters embarked on a journey to create and install a custom-designed rug for the great room of a Gallery Residence. The goal was to create an elegant backdrop for the magnificent fine art collection on display in the room.

Our client wanted the design of their 80 foot condo lobby rug to celebrate its local NYC financial district neighbourhood. We proposed the creation of an abstract map. Selecting a few areas on the local map with interesting outlines and road configurations, we then scaled them up so the shapes were larger.
