BOLD UP CLOSE YET SOFT FROM AFAR

Up close our inset rugs for the oh-so-fashionable d|bar present a pattern that reads bold with a series of textured lines in a variety of contrasting tones. An amalgamation of eleven colours in wool and silk. The line work carries across the rug giving us plenty of opportunity to incorporate the surrounding tones such as the delicate blush of the seating. But once you step back to appreciate the overall, the pattern reads as a soft backdrop for the furnishings and architectural details. A natural texture mingling harmoniously with the marble floor and wood finishes, those bold lines complementing the soft curves of the furniture.
