VIDEO: HOW ONE RUG WENT FROM SMALL OIL PAINTING TO LARGE CUSTOM CARPET

In February 2015, we unveiled the 29 custom carpets we created for the Canadian High Commission in London from original artwork by Canadian artists (The grand reopening of Canada House in London with 29 rugs). This short video is the story of just one of them - how the designer transformed a tiny oil painting from the east coast of Canada into a carpet design and how that design then became a handtufted wool area rug in a magnificent historical building on London's Trafalgar Square.
